LOS ANGELES TRIP

Recently, before the world went upside down I went on a trip to California with one of my good friends. I am so excited to share with you guys what I did there!

I had never gone to California before or had seen LA before. So I've always wanted to go due to obvious reasons, I love the beach and who doesn't want to see the Hollywood sign? Unfortunately, the weather was cold and rainy which made things not as enjoyable (kind of annoying because it usually never rains in LA but whatever). Meaning that pictures weren't as fire and site seeing was a bit more difficult, but still, we had so much fun and we can't wait to visit again when the weather is fabulous.

1. Go to Venice Beach

This was our first experience after getting off the plane because the weather was still good. The views were stunning and the environment was great! Also, its free so that just makes it the best place. We also made our way down to the Santa Monica Pier to watch the sunset.

2. Urth Cafe

This cafe gave me keeping up with Kardashian vibes, i loved it. One of my friends suggested we go there. We had brunch, and it was pretty tasty and boujee just how I like it! We ordered a pesto chicken panini and a grilled cheese with cute fruit. The cafe has a lot of French influence, I felt like I was in Europe. Also a great place for coffee and boba!

3. Rodeo Drive

I mean, this is a no-brainer. Probably my favorite place ever. If you go to LA you have to go to Rodeo Drive, it's so nice! It was raining and cold but that didn't stop us, got a chance to walk the empty streets alone. The weather definitely gave the street a different ambiance. We walked in to Vera Wang, Chanel and Prada! (maybe I'll come back and look at wedding dresses from Vera).

4. Griffith Observatory

The Griffith observatory gives you the nicest view of the city and the Hollywood Sign! It is only $10 to park and free entrance to the observatory. The drive up there was nice all on it's own. Once again the sun was not out for the best pictures but still, the view was unforgettable. Seeing the hollywood sign that close is insane!

5. Roscoe's Chicken

Last, but not least Roscoe's was recommended by so many people. The food was very southern and the people were pretty friendly. I enjoyed the waffle the most. Best place if you're looking for some soul food that still holds that LA essence.

Hope you enjoyed this blog post and if you're traveling to LA soon I hope you can check out at least one of these places!

Xx.
